The accompanying analytics reporting portal gives parents insights to their kids daily smartphone usage time and the chance to track their kid's specific phone, internet and app usage. »familee trends«, designed as a comprehensive reporting tool, brings together the »family parents app« and the »familee kids« app.
The familee app reporting portal uses modern web technologies to provide a seamless user experience. The usage data stored in the backend's database is fetched and managed via backbone.js and rendered as charts with the help of d3.js. Everything runs inside an AngularJS environment which is used to wire up the different components and provide a seamless one page application experience for mobile and desktop browsers.
